Item Description

A nifty 4-piece collection of totally different looking fluorite styles from Argentina and the Dave Stoudt Collection. The largest piece has pretty purple fluorite octahedrons 1.3 cm nicely scattered on the undulating matrix of sulfide-dusted blocky, bladed feldspar and quartz crystals. Two, color-zoned, tan with pretty purple highlights, cuboctahedral fluorite crystals to 1.8 cm are jauntily set on the feldspar matrix on the second piece. The third matrix piece is a 2.2 x 2.1 cm, pastel-green with brown zoning, fluorite cuboctahedron with unusual rounded and etched faces. The matrix is a glassy, partial quartz crystal on feldspar. The thumbnail translucent fluorite cuboctahedron is a pretty teal-blue and has unusual etched and rounded faces. Ex Dave Stoudt Collection # 884. Dave lived and worked in Argentina in the oil industry and established good contacts there with collectors.
