Item Description

An outstanding and rich large display specimen in high relief with 16 sharply formed and well-preserved ammonite fossils, not only representative of this famous location but also quite beautiful. The large ammonite is 5.4 cm across. This superb English fossil is Lower Jurassic 201-174 MYA. The species is Amioceras Semicostatum. This striking large piece has been expertly prepared. Ex Bill Severance Collection, a well-known Pennsylvania collector who passed away in January 2023.
