Franzinite is an ultra-rare complex silicate discovered in 1977 and this specimen is from the Type Locality in Italy. Pearly white microcrystal clusters are scattered on the vuggy pumice matrix along with yellow-green vesuvianite crystals. Seldom on the market. Ex Josef Vajdak Collection.
