Item Description
An elegant and old classic galena specimen from the earliest years of Rock Currier's collecting career. This is a classic TRI STATE LEAD DISTRICT piece from Kansas. It is unusual in the quality, pristine condition, and that it has a specific mine preserved! Some but not all of Rock's pieces had special display labels made, that he was working on before he passed away, with the history typed upon them as shown here. He kept this from his friend's collection when Bob passed away earlier, in memory of his friend and also because it is really damned good for an old tri state galena! Crystals to 2.7 cm, sharp, and complete. Valued $2000-plus.
