Item Description

Showy and excellent combination material from the well-known Alimon Mine at Huaron. Lustrous, battleship-gray, galena octahedons and cuboctahedrons are very aesthetically scattered among glassy, frosted, calcite rhombs. The galenas have a nifty melted-look and diagnostic to Huaron, wavy, ripple-like lines on the crystal faces. The form of the galena crystal clusters is exceptional. Pristine, except for the nearly out-of-sight periphery wear. Classic and desirable combo material from the late 1980s-early 90s production peak. Ex Vincent Valade and Robert Whitmore Collections.
