Item Description
Superb combination piece of very rare Kalahari fields Galena, with lustrous Chalcopyrite, and sharp, fluorescent Calcites. The most massive Galena cluster, mixed with Chalcopyrite, is about 2 cm across. There is also Galena interspersed thoughout the specimen. A terrific and valuable specimen according to Charlie who said that only 5-6 galenas have been found in the Kalahari fields, so far as he knows. No reasons why it is so rare there
