Item Description
Sharp, lustrous, battleship-gray, galena octahedrons to 2.3 x 2.2 cm are aesthetically discrete on the matrix plate on this excellent specimen from a classic Polish locale - Olkusz. The octos have slightly flattened terminations. Mineral specimens from Olkusz are not that common and this is a highly representative example of the species and locale. Ex Dave Stoudt Collection.
