RARE and outstanding OLD-TIME galena from a very obscure Joplin Field locale. This impressive, 360-degree mounded cluster of intergrown, sharp, lustrous, battleship-gray galena cubes is dominated by the striking 3.0 cm, pristine, elongated cube aesthetically set at the crest. Complete all-around and nearly pritine, for such a dense old-timer, with only one gently bruised corner. Possibly from the King-Duenweg-Asarco Lease. RARE old galena from an East Coast Collection and comes with a faded and stained century-old label. Fairly valued at $750-900 for age, rarity and quality. A MUST for the locality or species collector.
