Item Description

Surreal, splendent, rounded, melted-look galena crystals are attractively complimented by: water-clear, tapered, quartz spikes; lustrous, twinned, jet-black, sphalerite crystals; and golden chalcopyrites on the edges of this very rich sulfide ore specimen from the famous Casapalca Mine of Peru. This is an unusual, showy and very fine combination sulfide specimen from this noted locale. The mounded matrix is coarsely crystallized of the same species. Ex Vincent Valade and Robert Whitmore Collections. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON.
