Item Description

Splendent, sharp, metallic-gray, galena cuboctahedrons to 2.8 cm are aesthetically clustered on this very showy old-timer from the Tri-State District. Lustrous, brassy, marcasite blades and gemmy rubyjack sphalerite crystals sprinkled about on the galenas and the drusy calcite and marcasite-covered chert matrix enhance the quality of this fine combination piece. Periphery wear is noted, but is certainly a modest detraction. Ex Rukin Jelks Collection and has several fine display views.
