Item Description

An excellent and very showy sulfide combination specimen from the famous Huanzala Mine. Splendent, metallic gray galena cubes with striking, melted-look corners and crystal faces are associated with lustrous sphalerite crystals, a few, very distinctive, matte-gray, tetrahedrite sphenoids and a scattered dusting of golden chalcopyrite, limited to the sphalerite and tetrahedrites. A trivial bit of bruising is noted, but is certainly a modest detraction. Really good combination material from this locale. Ex Vincent Valade and Robert Whitmore Collections.
