Item Description

An exotic, cool looking and very rare galena with barite miniature combination from France. Mineral specimens of ANY variety are extremely rare from this small village in the Nimes area of Southern France. A mostly crystallized, unusual tabular galena crystal with an attachment at the base is strikingly accented with two balls of parallel-growth barite blades. Formerly in the John Marshall Collection. This highly unusual galena is not a "floater" as stated on the Marshall label. Ex Larry Conklin Collection and comes with the original label from a French dealer. A unique and rare galena and barite from France.
