Item Description

Very good Garnet specimen from the well-known Aggeneys deposit - known for metallics and the occasional Rhodos. The main Garnet crystal is a 1.6 cm, well-formed, and transluscent under good light. The deep cinammon color is exactly what you would hope for. There are two other Garnets over 1 cm in size, and numerous smaller ones. The Garnets are intermixed with iridescent, subhedral Chalcopyrite that has superb luster and excellent color. Intergrown and below is Galena. An attractive, quality specimen from a very seldom seen locale
