Fabulous, gemmy, yellow, anglesite crystals are aesthetically set in a sculptural curved vug in massive galena matrix on this superb specimen from Touissit. The gorgeous, water-clear, elongated crystals reach 1.3 cm on this dramatic piece. Although not huge, they are utterly glassy and of brilliant luster and high quality, making this a choice piece overall. Touissit anglesites of this exceptional quality are generally considered to be the world's finest. These specimens date to the 1970s or 80s. The shaft is even known on this outstanding piece. A bit of periphery wear is noted, but is certainly a modest detraction compared to the core aeas and the fact that nearly all crystals are so well terminated. Valued at $1200-1500.
