Item Description
A glassy gem aquamarine crystal from the well-known Shigar District of Pakistan. The very glassy and lustrous, textbook hexagonal prism has fine ice-blue color. The upper portion is water-clear gem and is highlighted by an interesting interior curved veil. Trivial edge wear is certainly only a modest detraction. The bit of contrasting albite is a nice contrast to gemmy/cloudy base, that does have some contacting and bruising. This remains a highly representative miniature gem aquamarine from the noted locale. Mass is 16 grams.
