Item Description

A large and fine plate of German baryte on drusy quartz matrix. The water-clear, gem crystals have the glassy luster and rich golden-amber color you want in one of these. Pohla is also known for its crystallized silver specimens. The front is festooned and one edge and the back also has crystals. Crystals measure up to 1.7 cm in length and the piece displays well from several orientations. HARD TO OBTAIN, particularly in this size and quality. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
