A EXCELLENT 2-piece deal of gem, green pencil tourmalines from the famous Gillette Quarry at Haddam Neck, Connecticut. The crystals have excellent emerald-green color saturation. CLASSIC Haddam Neck green tourmaline material. There is a tiny contact on the large crystal, but no damage, per se. 10.24 carats or just over 2 grams. Ex Richard Hauck Collection and collected by Gene Vitali in the 1950-60s. This is the LAST of the small lot, that came with the Hauck Collection. So, the winning bidder also gets the 8.2 x 6.9 cm, antique, glass-covered box, that the tourmalines came in. Always in demand, these are true US classics and hard to come by!.
