Item Description
A truly spectacular CABINET plate richly covered with GEMMY, OLIVE-GREEN sphalerite crystals with incredible luster, on quartz matrix. The twinned crystals, to 1.3 cm, just scintillate with glassy gemmness in any light. They are much better in person and are really just striking and colorful (you get an idea from the closeups), though hard to photograph. I have seen a lot of these over the years and few so rich and colorful as this fine plate. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!! Valued at $750
