Item Description

The Huanuni Mine has produced some of the finest vivianite specimens in the world. This gorgeous pair of sharply terminated, parallel-growth, gem crystals came out in the early 1980"s and was in several prominent miniatures collections. The luster is supremely splendent and the interior colors range from rich emerald-green to vivid blue-green, depending on the angle of the light source. An outstanding, classsic, water-clear Huanuni vivianite from the Keith Proctor, Al Partee and Steve Smale Collections. A fine provenance for a great specimen.
