Item Description

Striking, intergrown, gemmy color-zoned fluorite cubes are richly sprinkled with sparkly, golden iridescent chalcopyrite sphenoids and tiny calcite scalenohedrons on this outstanding and aesthetic large two-sided elongated combination from the famous Denton Mine and the Ross Lillie Collection # 0971. The water-clear to translucent fortification-style cubes have gem amber and translucent very pretty lavender interiors with very nifty, sharp, violet edge phantoms. The impressive large cube is 3.3 cm. Collected by the Assistant Mine Surveyor in July, 1984 during advance mining in the newly opened upper level in the "Lillie" pod. Moderate purple fluorescence. Valued at $2500. Superb and pristine Denton Mine fluorite combination material.
