Item Description

Striking and beautiful rich golden-amber gem terminations on this sculptural doubly-terminated and twinned calcite, from the famous Denton Mine. The translucent middle section of the crystal is amber with a cloudy gray interior. The attached matrix fragments of purple fluorite and galena and tiny gemmy rubyjack sphalerite crystals add character to this artistic and essentially pristine calcite. Ex Ross Lillie Collection # 0629. A classic and excellent Denton Mine calcite. Valued at $750.
