Item Description

Gem rose-red, lustrous, rhodochrosite rhombs are aesthetically intergrown on the sculptural thumbnail matrix on this classic and excellent example from the famous 1970s and 80s finds at the Potosi Mine. Choice material with gemmy fine colored crystals from the Kay Robertson Collection # 10263. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record).
