Tabular aquamarine crystals are VERY RARE from any of the Espirito Santo State pegmatite localties listed and illustrated by MINDAT. This striking, sharp, glassy and highly lustrous crystal has rich gray-blue color with a gem complex pyramidal termination and a translucent body. Complete all-around and pristine. A fascinating and rare style aqua from any locale from Kay Robertson Collection # 10250. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record).
