Item Description

A thin box-work of matrix is host to a crust of UNUSUALLY waxy & lustrous, translucent gibbsite spheres to .5 cm across. Aesthetic and finer in outright quality than most such specimens. From a small find in 2010 or so, of this unusual material. It weights little, as aluminum is a prime ingredient! Very strange to hold it in your hand - it looks like a rock, but feels like balsa wood in weight. valued $500
