Item Description
The Gibeon meteorite fall took place in prehistoric times over a large area (strewn field) of the Hardap Region of Namibia. It is an iron meteorite (iron-nickel alloy) classified as a fine octahedrite. This art cut and polished specimen with rounded edges has classic Widmanstatten patterns. It is eminently suitable for jewelry, as a pendent, or as a collectible. 25.72 carats or just over 5 grams.
