Item Description

A classic, very showy and unusual goethite specimen from Colorado. Uncommon, connected, lustrous, golden goethite botyroids jauntily rest on top of earthy-brown, radial sprays of goethite blades to form this excellent piece. Examination of the goethite on the back reveals the radial nature of the blades. This excellent specimen is from a recent find at the Dreamtime Mine in Teller County. The sculptural specimen was expertly collected, with very minimal damage overall. Valued at $250 by the former owner, Adam Sotomayor, who collected it.
