Item Description
A very aesthetic specimen of brilliant starbursts of partially gemmy, chocolate-brown to black, acicular goethite needles on a goethite crust from Lake George, Colorado. The riveting starburst is 3.0 cm across. Even the back and base are very nifty, as the goethite crust hollows are lined with goethite needles. Fine Colorado material from the Larry Krause Collection. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
