Item Description
A very sculptural, free-form, botryoidal specimen of highly lustrous, jet-black, goethite rests on banded goethite matrix. This dramatic and excellent, two-sided specimen is from the old iron ore locality of Mud Lake. The sculpture is pristine, except for the contacted end. Rarely seen, artistic material from the Larry Krause Collection.
