Item Description

Striking mounded clusters of lustrous, bubbly black goethite botryoids cover this impressive large specimen from an unknown Morocco locale. The mounds reach about 3.5 cm tall. A few of the mounds have contacted/bruised tips, which is certainly only a modest detraction to this 360-degree piece. The bottom reveals the striking rust-red radial growth of the acicular goethite crystals. Very showy and highly representative material from the Paul Zerfass Collection # 598.
