Goethite, Smoky Quartz, Orthoclase & Albite (OLD - rare locale)

Item Description

A very showy and classic goethite combination specimen from an obscure Colorado locale. A striking, 4.0 cm, radial cluster of lustrous, earthy-brown, goethite blades is aesthetically set on the end of the combination feldspar matrix accented with smaller goethite sprays. Sharp, blocky, pearlescent, pastel-pink, orthoclase crystals are complimented by the off-white, etched blocky albite crystals. This fine combination specimen is from an old 40-year ago find in Park County. Valued at $200-300. Classic Colorado.
