Item Description

A historic Gold specimen dating back over 100 years. The piece is originally from the collection of Clinton H. Moore, and the old label indicates that the piece was collected in 1891. It features several small, highly modified Gold crystals/wires which are imbedded in massive white Quartz and are associated with minor Molybdenite. This specimen is from the well known Colorado Gold collection of Rich Kosnar, and his collection label indicates that Clinton H. Moore was a graduate of Dartmouth in 1874. A very cool documented Gold specimen from the far northern end of the Colorado Mineral Belt.
