A very rich, showy and large specimen of bright, dendritic, microcrystalline, gold richly scattered in quartz from an important and historic Italian gold mine - the Brusson Mine. There is a lot of gold in this piece, as it is quite hefty for its size at 281 grams. The gold is too widely dispersed to have more gold excavated but it IS in there. A European collector paid 1500 Euros for this hefty example from rare alpine gold deposits here
