Gold nuggets (old material)

Item Description

A "golden" deal of seven, sculptural, flattened, river-worn, gold nuggets from the historic Yuba River placers area. They were mined and kept in a family collection since the 1950s or 1960s, I was told by my source, who sold that particular family collection. They have a rich, mellow-yellow patina and really interesting, curvaceous to nubby to rounded to angular forms. Total weight is 7.2 grams. The current gold price is over $1485/ounce or nearly $48/gram. Bullion value is over $343. Specimen value is more. For this locality, they are excellent. These are the last of the stash we bought.
