Item Description
A rarely seen and historic Gold specimen from the famous mining district of Leadville, Colorado. This somewhat porous, off-white color piece of Quartz (partially forming casts after Pyrite crystals) hosts several small, bright metallic "flakes" of native Gold. A very interesting and unusual reference specimen from this well known area high in the Rocky Mountains. A very hard to find Colorado Gold specimen that is more than likely close to 100 years old.
