Item Description

Goosecreekite is a very rare zeolite group species, worldwide and also from the Deccan Traps of India. Amethyst is also very uncommon from Nasik. This is a superb and doubly rare large specimen of a 3.0 x 2.3 x 2.0 cm, bladed aggregate of snowy-white goosecreekite crystals with silky luster aesthetically placed in the center of a bowl-like vug of glassy, very pretty, light lilac quartz crystals. Very rare material in this size and quality from any Indian locality. Ex George Elling Collection. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON. Valued $1000-1250.
