Gormanite (rare)

Item Description

A beautiful and rare group of acicular rich blue-green color crystals in semi-radial "sprays" of the rare phosphate Gormanite free of matrix. Typically, people are used to seeing Gormanite in little "tufts" on matrix from the Yukon in Canada, but the sheer amount of Gormanite on this specimen is more than I've seen on any single specimen from Canada. If you collect rarities, thumbnails or phosphates, be sure to pick up this rich sample of pure Gormanite from this classic Brazilian locale.
