Item Description
A striking, gemmy and lustrous, tourmaline crystal with beautiful, pastel-green color with darker green at the gemmier termination from Pech. The well-striated crystal has very interesting internal layering. It glows with green glory under light. This is an uncommon and excellent example, where the green color is nearly uniform the entire length of the crystal. The pinacoid termination is lightly frosted and has moderate luster. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only trivial termination edge wear. 48 grams. Valued at $1500 and well worth it for color, rarity and gemminess. THE COLOR IS UNIQUE - in person, it shows! From a small find at Tucson 2010. Among the last of some crystals we had out for cleaning from that purhase.
