Garnet comes in virtually every color of the rainbow. The now closed Jeffrey Quarry in Quebec, Canada produced some of the most memorable and unique Grossular Garnets in the world. This particular stone has a very pale golden color that is very slightly included with a "Marquise" cut. This locality will never be mined again, so there is now a finite number of Grossulars from Jeffrey out there. If nothing else, this gem is a nice "locality" stone to fill a spot in a Garnet suite.
