Two, sharp, translucent, vibrant ?raspberry? colored grossular garnet dodecahedrons to 1.5 cm are well-placed on the thin plate of sintered quartz matrix on this showy and excellent piece from the well-known Lake Jaco deposit of Mexico. The two backlit photos highlight the gorgeous color saturation and translucency of the large grossular.
