Item Description
Gemmy and lustrous, cinnamon-orange, grossular garnets to 1.8 cm form and showy and excellent plate from the well-known Hunting Hill Quarry of Maryland. The crystals are textbook dodecahedrons. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with just a bit of trivial periphery. A highly representative example of the species and locale. Ex Larry Krause Collection.
