Item Description

Beautiful, brilliant, gemmy, dark cherry-red hessonite crystals to 1.0 cm are aesthetically clustered on granite matrix covered with books of silvery-green, gemmy clinochlore lamellae on this fine specimen from a classic Italian locale - Carboneri in the Pellice Valley. The hessonites in the central cluster are pristine. Periphery wear is noted to the grossulars on one end. This is very highly representative combination material from this noted locale. Ex.
