Item Description
A gorgeous rich orange, 1.4 cm, gem hessonite grossular garnet trapezohedron with striated faces from the famous and extinct Jeffrey Mine. The limpid gem is beautifully set on the accenting thumbnail matrix of glassy light green diopside crystals and two smaller garnets. The crystal is nearly pristine, with only a tiny bruise at the termination. A classic and exquisite grossular and diopside thumbnail from the renowned locale. Ex Charlie Key Collection.
