Item Description
A classic thumbnail specimen of these well known and unique Garnets. This piece hosts a predominant, attractive, sharp, dodecahedral "raspberry" color crystal of Grossular measuring 1.1 cm on matrix from this famous locality that produced specimen in the mid-late 1990s. The front side of the crystal is in good condition, but it's incomplete on the back where it separated from the pocket wall. Good specimens are not common on the market anymore, and these are some of the most distinctive Garnets in the world, so if you collect thumbnails or Garnets, this is a good representative piece to add to your collection.
