Item Description
A pleasing display of a massive Garnet rich host rock with areas of well developed olive green Grossular Garnet crystals covering two sides and filling a vein/vug on another side. The Garnets have sharp bright lustrous faces that measure up to 7 mm. The crystals, where present, are in excellent condition. The specimen is a good representative example from the century old Queensland mine. Ex. Kurt Hefendehl Collection. Unusual location!
