Gudmundite (rare)

Item Description

This rare iron antimony sulfide gets is named after the type locality of Gudmundstorp, Sweden. Good quality specimens are certainly few and far between on the market, and we were fortunate to acquire a handful of specimens from a good friend overseas. This relatively rich miniature piece features small but attractive, prismatic crystals on matrix from this late stage hydrothermal antimony deposit in Slovakia. The crystals are <1mm, but some of them are beautiful under high magnification. A great opportunity to purchase a specimen of a species that is rarely offered for sale on the market.
