Gypsum with Hematite inclusions

A dramatic pair of crossed, water-clear, selenite (gypsum) "swords" on matrix from this well-known antimony-gold mine. The striking, 9.8 cm, frontal "sword" is included with RARE Hematite specks and elongated Hematite bands throughout its entire length. The larger, impressive, 12.2 cm "sword" interestingly has no included hematite. The waxy luster selenites have striated faces, that further enhance the crystals. The termination of the included crystal appears to be pristine, while the larger crystal has an undamaged, contacted termination from being contacted in the vug. These were originally sold as stibnite inclusions in gypsum, and at high prices!...but it is actually disseminated grains of hematite. A very choice and RARE large example of the combination, especially with adjacent included and not included crystals.
