Gypsum with sand inclusions

Item Description

A classic example of the famous inclusions of golden-brown sand inside of colorless Gypsum from the Great Salt Plains State Park in Alfalfa County, Oklahoma. This crystal is a complete "floater" with no real point of attachment that I can see, as it is crystallized all the way around. The piece is heavily included with sand, which gives all the crystals that beautiful color. The largest crystal measures 5.3 cm Classic material from Oklahoma.
