An extremely fine, sculptural and rare style zeolite combination plate from the famous extinct Malad quarry. Olive-green, bladed, gyrolite balls are aesthetically clustered and scattered on the basalt matrix plate. Striking snow-white laumontite prisms, to 4.0 cm, a 2.4 cm frosted blocky calcite rhomb and scattered tiny apophyllites are super accessories. Older, outstanding material from the 1970s or early 80s and very uncommon in this combination and form. The quarry closed due to population growth. Classic Malad Quarry combination material.
