Item Description

Intergrown pretty green halite cubes form an aesthetic 360-degree specimen from recent finds at this locale. The sharp waxy luster, translucent, stepped-growth are dramatically dominated by the large 3.2 x 3.3 x 2.9 cm crystal at one end. Complete all-around and essentially pristine. The attachment is at the narrow base. The green color is probably a modern addition from copper mining runoff, as they do grow naturally in the mine. Orange fluorescence. Choice material from the find with multiple fine display views.
