A good representative toenail sized piece featuring sharp, lustrous, jet-black, pseudo-octahedral Hausmannite crystals measuring to about 3 mm from the famous N'Chwaning Mines in South Africa. Some of the finest examples of Hausmannite are those from the Kalahari Manganese Field, and if you collect worldwide oxides or minerals from South Africa, this is a nice piece to add to your collection.
